My grandfather took this photo (left), and it epitomizes something I try to give every family I photograph – a sliver of time, steeped in memory even for those who weren’t there.
Looking through the camera, I see the world a little differently. Somehow time moves a little slower, and the puzzle of the world seems to fall into place. I’ve been told I have a knack for putting people at ease, and with my camera, I am searching for a glimpse of the soul.
