Two days is not enough time to spend in Rome (and visit Vatican City), but it is enough time to be drawn into amazement at the art and beauty.

Maroon Bells Wilderness
West Maroon Pass in the Maroon Bells Wilderness a world-class hike. This photograph was taken during the peak of Colorado’s high-country wildflower season near the middle of the 11-mile trek.

Sentinel Spire at Colorado National Monument
I had a blast photographing CAMP athlete Rob the Piz and Jesse on Colorado National Monument’s Sentinel Spire. They cruised Fast Draw on the back side of the spire, then rapped down and climbed Medicine Man on the front. Another good day in the desert!

Great Smoky Mountain Road Trip
I just have time for a quick post today, so I thought it’d be fun to share a couple favorites from a trip to Tennessee. During our daytrip to the Smokey Mountains, we encountered a curious baby bear (mama bear was up the hill 30 yards) and this incredible riverbank shored up by old smashed cars.
