A golden tree and a sweet couple perfectly in love…what more can you ask for on an autumn October day? Nicolle and Brian were married in Cambridge, Minnesota and had one of the most fun weddings I’ve been to yet. The dance floor was rockin’, the wedding party was a hoot and watching the bride and groom made my heart melt.

Nicolle & Brian’s Autumn Cambridge, MN Wedding
Wednesday, October 19th, 2011Ryan & Deirdra’s Wine Country Wedding
Thursday, October 6th, 2011Ryan and Deirdra wed in the hills of wine country in California. Healdsburg Country Gardens has a big, old oak tree where they said their vows (and made me tear up). This stunning couple knows how to host a party, with a weekend of events that included a bicycle wine tour in the Russian River Valley and two relaxing nights of wine and great food leading up to the big event. I loved every detail of the wedding day, from the table place cards strung in rows to the paper lanterns adorning the trees and tables. But most of all I loved watching Ryan and Deirdra, two truly amazing people, on one of the happiest days of their lives. Aren’t they shining?
Randall and Angelina’s Central Park Wedding
Sunday, May 29th, 2011The spectacular Randall and Angelina were married in Central Park’s Conservatory Gardens. If I lived in New York City, I might never leave Central Park…the breeze was light and spring flower petals floated off the trees. What a dreamy day!
Joe and Jenae’s Boulder, Colorado Wedding Reception
Saturday, May 14th, 2011Joe and Jenae were married in Mexico, then returned to Boulder, Colorado for their wedding reception at the CU Stadium. With all of the stress of planning a wedding behind them, Jenae and Joe could just kick back and enjoy the perfect evening and this incredible venue. I always love photographing here ~ be sure to check out Jenae and Joe’s engagement photos on campus from earlier in the year for more of this fun couple.
Jon and Michelle’s Vineyard Wedding
Monday, March 7th, 2011Michelle and Jon had an intimate wedding at a beautiful winery in southeastern Minnesota in the Mississippi River Valley. Nestled in the bluffs of Winona, the vineyard was green, the weather was warm and the big red barn glowed at sunset. What a dreamy wedding!
Shaun and Kecia’s DIY Wedding
Sunday, February 6th, 2011My brother Shaun and his new wife Kecia had one of the most unique weddings I’ve ever been to. Shaun, a pilot, had connections to a private air strip with an open-air hangar, and the weather couldn’t have been better for this stunning outdoor wedding. It was autumn in Nashville, and the leaves were in full color, and vintage planes flew overhead. Kecia, an architect, designed the wedding. I’m not fully dressed without my camera, so you get a peek into their big day…I included more detail shots than usual, so the DIY brides out there can steal her brilliant ideas. Check out the twig centerpiece with paper flowers, there were ten or so and the twigs were collected from the forest by the airplane hangar. The wedding had a honky tonk band playing Johnny Cash and old country from the back of a pickup truck bed. The big dipper hung over the sky. The vintage planes glimmered beyond a massive bonfire. And I have a new sister!
