WOW look at those eyes – Dina is a darling girl with an infectiously excitable side, which we saw whenever she was holding a flower. I photographed Dina, Betsy and Liz in Denver, Colorado’s Washington Park (known to the locals as Wash Park).

A golden tree and a sweet couple perfectly in love…what more can you ask for on an autumn October day? Nicolle and Brian were married in Cambridge, Minnesota and had one of the most fun weddings I’ve been to yet. The dance floor was rockin’, the wedding party was a hoot and watching the bride and groom made my heart melt.
Trey’s portraits were taken after a storm afternoon in Denver, as the clouds began to clear. Trey told adorable knock-knock jokes the whole time, and we got lots of giggles out of him when he told the punchlines.
Ryan and Deirdra wed in the hills of wine country in California. Healdsburg Country Gardens has a big, old oak tree where they said their vows (and made me tear up). This stunning couple knows how to host a party, with a weekend of events that included a bicycle wine tour in the Russian River Valley and two relaxing nights of wine and great food leading up to the big event. I loved every detail of the wedding day, from the table place cards strung in rows to the paper lanterns adorning the trees and tables. But most of all I loved watching Ryan and Deirdra, two truly amazing people, on one of the happiest days of their lives. Aren’t they shining?
If you brave the traffic jams and noise of Los Angeles, you can still find hideaways like this – Schabarum Park. Flower fields and winding paths through the hills let you escape from the chaos of LA.
