Matt & Brittany pulled off a perfect balance of urban meets country in their Downtown Denver engagement photo shoot last fall. I loved their cowboy boots and fun style, and we had a great time on this beautiful autumn day in LoDo.

Monica and Daren were looking for a romantic engagement photo shoot in Denver, so we visited some new fun spots in Denver’s RiNo district (the River North area near LoDo) in addition to some of my favorites in LoDo. These two just oozed chemistry, and were so fun to photograph on this wintery Denver day last January!

Have camera, will travel! This time it was to Chicago to photograph the stunning Cheryl & John for their engagement in downtown Chicago. We had fun with the Chicago skyline at sunset, and found some great texture and character in Chicago’s historic Printer’s Row.

Little newborn Benjamin was sleepy and adorable for his first baby photos. I met Benjamin along with his mom Jen and dad Charlie for their family portraits in Denver, Colorado’s Wash Park. I loved his sweet yawns and watching him snuggle with mom & dad!

I met Jason & Megan in Denver’s LoDo for engagement photos last summer (I’m a bit behind in my blogging…you’ll have to forgive me, but I’m trying to catch up!). Jason is in the air force and brought his military uniform for some of the shots – and I’m so excited about the throw-back look some of those shots have. This bride-to-be glowed with her fiance, and I can’t wait for you to see their wedding photos (when I finally get around to posting them!).

You’re about to meet one of my very favorite people in the entire world – my little sister, Michelle. And today is her birthday! So in honor of her loveliness, I’ve created a blog post just for her. She is one talented lady – she has her own handmade Etsy Shop (Rosy Blu Handmade) and vintage Etsy Shop (Rosy Blu Vintage), plus the fabulous Rosy Blu blog with all sorts of great tips for good living, good eating and surrounding yourself with only BLU things (beautiful, loved or useful). Here’s a photo I took of her near her garden for her blog – and let me assure you that photographing your own sister is one of the most fun things to do in life.
